Since 2006, the University of Alcalá holds the Centre for Public Policy and Government Studies, a new school that offers elected politicians and senior officials from the various public administrations a place to reflect on the latest trends in the international political arena.
Today’s society sees being aware of the latest trends in the international political arena as a key factor in the success of individuals and organisations, particularly if the actors involved are elected politicians and senior officials of the various public administrations.
The Centre for Public Policy and Government Studies was created with a pluralistic approach in order to provide our political representatives and all those who take part in the Spanish public life with knowledge and resources they may apply to their executive, public and parliamentary fields.
This implies improving the ability to tackle the complex network of new challenges in economic, political and social issues and, particularly, understanding how the new global economy affects countries and their institutions.
This Centre tries to deal with all those issues and to give political and public-administration professionals the essential management skills in their various sectors.
